A patient with difficulty in using left hand since last 2 days before admission to the hospital with k/c/o hypertension for 10 yr and history of numbness of left hand for past days. His blood investigations showed Vitamin D deficiency. MRI brain showed acute infarct in right frontoparietal, centrum semiovale, right post central gyrus, chronic infarct with gliosis in right premotor gyrus. We present the case of a 77 yr old man who had a cerebrovascular accident. He was on medical management, started on with anticoagulants and neuroprotective. A stroke also referred to as a cerebral vascular accident (CVA) or a brain attack is an interruption in the flow of blood to cells in the brain.
